Jiva means dance which portrays the beauty of South African dance culture.It was created and written by award winning director and producer,Busisiwe Ntintili.Stream it or skip it.This is the best dance series you can watch.Itoffers some fine dance which builds up a fan-base as an amazing dance drama.

Jiva revolves around Ntombi (Noxolo Dlamini), a talented dancer, who is forced to sacrifice her passion and dreams to help out her family. Trapped in a dead-end job, the announcement of the Fifth Annual Jiva Loxion Street Dance Drama gives her hope, a chance to reshape her life and bail her family out of financial problems. 

Firstly, Jiva! Is a show filled with a wide range of different dance styles from Mzansi. All of these are portrayed as close to their true colors of South African Dance Culture.
Alongside her Ntombi’s dance group members, Stella Dlangalala as Lady E, Candice Modiselle as Vuyiswa, Zazi Kunene as Nolwazi, and Sne Mbatha as Zinhle.
Other actors to appear in the show include Anga Makubalo, Given Stuurman, Ntuthuzelo Grootboom, and Tony Kgoroge. Tony Kgoroge is an actor and director known for his works in Invictus, Blood Diamond, and Hotel Rwanda.

The story ends with Ntombi and her friends hopping into a bus to prepare for the final rounds of the dance competition. This clearly shows more astonishing performances to follow in the next season. For the upcoming season, the backstories of some of the characters need fleshing out and I am really looking forward to how Ntombi will sort out her love life.
